Election and Selection of the Organizational Officers

Anyone may be nominated for an open position (you may even nominate yourself), however the person being nominated must be (or become) a paid member in good standing by Feb. 1st, 12:00am. All nominations must be made by Jan. 31, 12:00am. Nominations may be done at our monthly meeting, by email to midohiofilm@gmail.com, on our Facebook page, or by contacting one of the existing officers.

The MOFA Officers are elected annually by the Sponsor Membership of the Mid Ohio Filmmakers Association, with President, Treasurer and Community Relations Officer being elected on even numbered years and Vice President and Secretary being elected on odd numbered years.

Election of the MOFA Officers are done by simple plurality.

In the event of loss, resignation, or removal of a MOFA Officer, an emergency election will be administrated by the standing Officers. The Sponsor Membership shall nominate and elect a replacement or replacements.

Sponsor Members serve as MOFA Officers for a maximum term of two years, or until the regular annual election, whichever occurs first.

Sponsor Members can serve unlimited consecutive terms as MOFA Officers.

The Executive Committee (MOFA Officers) are charged with the day-to-day operation of the organization and its tactical duties.

The corporate affairs and business of the Mid Ohio Filmmakers Association is officially conducted by the MOFA Officers. Some duties, tasks, and programs may be delegated to other members of the Mid Ohio Filmmakers Association; however the MOFA Officers retain responsibility.

The MOFA Officers are made up of five Sponsor Members in good standing.

The MOFA Officers are comprised of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and a Community Relations Officer.
